Part 145 MRO for ULD Repairs
- Containers Purchase: Here, we would like to showcase the configurations we will be offering to the marketplace.
- There will be AAD, AMJ, AAP, AMP, AAY, AMV, and AKE configurations. Each of these configurations, except AKE, will have three types: package door, adaptable door, and door net and cover.
- AKE will have a fabric door with Velcro as a configuration.
AMV Container
A specialized, lightweight main-deck Unit Load Device (ULD) designed by Nordisk Aviation Products primarily for wide-body freighters like the Airbus A330-200F. It maximizes available cargo space, boosting volume capacity and volumetric yield compared to standard AAX containers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Capable of handling an operational max gross weight of 6,804 kg (15,000 lbs).
The external dimensions of the Nordisk AMV container are 96 in x 125 in x 96 in (Width x Length x Maximum Height), which corresponds to 2,438 mm x 3,175 mm x 2,438 mm. [1]
The tare weight of a standard Nordisk AMV container is approximately 350 kg (772 lbs)
Door Configuration: Choosing a heavy-duty solid metal door increases overall tare weight, while opting for a lightweight fabric curtain or a net-and-straps assembly drops the baseline weight significantly. [1]

AKE Container
Industry Standard: Fits lower deck compartments of wide-body aircraft (LD3 size).
Base Weight: Starting at 49kg (108 lbs) for the Ultralite X model, down from the standard 70kg+ of traditional aluminum containers.
Door Types: Typically available with flexible fabric or rigid bar doors to accommodate different cargo types. [1, 2]
Dimensions: 60.4 in × 79 in × 64 in (153.4 cm × 200.7 cm × 162.6 cm)
Exceptional Weight Efficiency: Built with advanced composites (such as TwinLite) and lightweight X-frame extrusions, which offer high wear-and-tear resistance. [1]
Fire Shield Capabilities: Nordisk offers highly specialized fire-resistant variants (like the FireShield+), designed to contain lithium-ion battery fires for over 6 hours. [1, 2]
Sustainability: Nordisk AKE containers have achieved an A+ rating under the ULD Care Climate Impact Label due to their lightweight design and 100% recyclable components.
PMC Pallet
Dimensions: 96″ x 125″ (240 cm x 320 cm)
Max Gross Weight: Typically 4,626 kg to 5,035 kg on lower decks; up to 6,800 kg on main decks
Tare Weight: ~120 kg (264 lbs) to 125 kg (275 lbs) depending on design
Material: High-strength, aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum alloy [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Purpose: Pallets are used globally by major airlines to efficiently transport bulk cargo and baggage in wide-body aircraft.
